Holy Land Tour ~ Judaean Desert

Dead Sea

Our final stop of the day before heading back to Jerusalem – Dead Sea.

Dead Sea is a salt lake bordered by Jordan to the east and Israel and the West back to the west. Therefore, it is highly unlikely for there to be waves.

Kalia Beach is situated at the northern tip of Dead Sea and off Al Bahr Al Mayet, a highway linking to Jerusalem.

Access to Dead Sea by Kalia Beach is as the beach is popular for saltwater floating and mud baths with access to shower and dressing rooms, bar and food vendors.

Note: If you have open wounds or scratches, avoid exposing those parts of your body to the water of the Dead Sea. The salt concentration is very high and it tends to sting when the water touches scratches and/or cuts.
