TIPS AND TRICKS
Pisa, a Dream come Through
How to get there
If visiting Pisa as a daytrip, I prefer arriving on train via Pisa San Rossore station. Porta Nuova Pisa is approximately 15mins walk from the station.

You need to make reservations ahead of your trip to access the Leaning Tower of Pisa. Each ticket has a date and allocated timeslot. I believe that every entry is only limited to half-hour and therefore, be in the queue ahead of the allocated time as these policies will be strictly observed. The Tower is open from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00hrs to 18:00hrs. You may want to checkout the Leaning Tower of Pisa page for more information.

There is no entry charge for access to Cattedrale di Pisa. However, access is only granted to ticket holders. Tickets can be obtained from the Tourist Market around the corner. Ticketholders are required to strictly observe the time allocated. The Cattedrale is open daily from 10:00hrs to 20:00hrs. Knees and shoulders have to be covered.
San Giovanni Baptistery is the largest Baptistery in the world. Access to the interior is EUR5.00. The Baptistery is open daily from 08:00hrs to 20:00hrs.
